Description: Small, waxy, highly fragrant, star shaped flowers.  The blossoms are cut from a vine and sold stemless in humid, air tight boxes or bags.
Colors: White.
Botanical Facts: The name is from the Greek words Stephanos (crown) and otos (ear), the Greek name for myrtle which was used to make crowns.
Design Notes: These fragrant blossoms are used in wedding a corsage work.
Purchasing Hints:  Purchase open flowers with waxy appearance.  Avoid bruised blossoms.
Conditioning:  Open shipping carton and inspect flowers.  Discard bruised and damaged blossoms.  Float the blossoms in a 50/50 solution of Crowning Glory and water for 20 minutes.  Drain and return to shipping carton, seal and refrigerate at 40 F for up to one week.
