Through Mother’s Eyes

"Gazing out my back window I saw my 'out of control' black berry vines. They looked so harsh and I wanted to see softness and life inside and around the menacing branches. Alas, my inspiration. I believe art is what you see in something. I saw some ugly black berry branches and manipulated them to hold something soft and sweet and full of life."

Anny Sears has been working in the flower business for 9 years at Fred Meyer. She started from caring for the plants to being a floral designer. Anny’s training has been from hard knocks and a few tips from a good friend. She has never won any awards or contest for her designs, but she is well on her way.
