This dramatic design, "Downpour" was the creation of Kathy Freeman - Hastings.  "Rain is an essential part of our lives here in the Pacific Northwest.  It nourishes our souls, our hearts, and our gardens.  Rain cleanses the air and removes the last vestiges of clinging blossoms and foliages from our trees and shrubs in autumn.  This piece is a tribute to the return of the rain."
