Oh what, fun!  We have scheduled a springtime tour of the Canadian flower auction for February 20th.  Mark your calendars and plan to join us for this great flower get away.  Details – yes there are many details to share with you!

We will meet at the Seattle King Street Amtrak Rail Station Sunday, February 20th at 6:45AM.  The address is; 303 South Jackson Street,Seattle, WA 98104. The train leaves at 7:45 am arriving in Vancouver British Columbia at 11:40AM.

Important Border Crossing information:  Since your trip involves entering a foreign country, you must have BOTH Proof of citizenship and Proof of identity.  Be sure to be prepared – we do not want to leave anyone at the border – coming or going! US and Canadian Citizens: a passport is strongly recommended. Otherwise, a certified copy of a birth certificate and current government-issued photo identification is required. Citizens of all other countries are required to have a passport and, in many cases, a visa, obtained prior to arrival at the border.
If you are coming from outside of the Seattle area, check in with Corie.  She can help you find Seattle lodging and give you hints for fun exploring in the Emerald City.  Corie:  888-819-8089 or Corie@FloralDesignInstitute.com.

Upon arriving in Canada, we will be meet by a private driver and driven to our first destination – Lunch.  Yes, it is definitely time to eat.  We’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch as we get to know each other.  You will be able to order directly from the menu to accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have.  After making plans for the free time this evening and Monday, our personal driver (now that does sound decadent!) will take us on to the hotel so we can get settled.

We will be staying downtown on Robson Street in a wonderful hotel.  I can’t tell you the name yet – just can’t decide between two – both are fab and right in the middle of everything.  I’ll have to get back to you on the final decision.
