Yep, 5:00 am is time to be out of bed.   We will meet in the lobby at 5:30 and head to the auction for our private tour.  Henk Grasmeyer (you’ll love him!) will take us around and show us all the exciting behind-the-scenes” stuff as well as lead us through the entire buying process.  Henk will provide coffee and treats to keep us going and be available to answer any questions you have.  We’ll be finished and head back to the hotel about 8:15.

Free time to crawl back under the covers or plan for your next independent excursion.  You will have the day free to explore the city on your own.  Just be sure to check out of your room by noon.  You can leave your bags with the front desk so that you do not have to carry them around with you.

We will be meeting in the lobby at 4:00 PM to head to the train station.  Be sure to have all your bags and newly acquired treasures.

Did I mention Amtrak’s new baggage policies?  I know that it's only an overnight trip, but this could be important.  Amtrak enforces a two-piece limit: Each passenger may bring aboard two pieces of carry-on baggage. Not included in this limit are personal items such as briefcases, purses, laptops, and infant paraphernalia such as strollers, diaper bags and car seats. Please be considerate of other passengers when stowing your carry-on bags.  50-Pound Limit: Each carry-on bag may weigh no more than 50 lbs.   Size Limit: Each carry-on bag may not exceed 28 x 22 x 14 inches in size.Just be sure to consolidate your items to fit into their restrictions.  If you have one too many packages, maybe one of your newfound flower friends will help carry.

Amtrak leaves Vancouver BC at 6:00 PM arriving in Seattle at 10:05 PM.  Back home – safe and sound.  Very tired but happy – what fun!
